Voluntary Departure

In-Progress Work

• Complete them to earn XP, OR
• Forfeit XP for incomplete work
• We prefer completion for both parties' benefit

Departure Process

1. Notify head founder or other founders of your decision
2. Discuss status of active deliverables/projects
3. Agree on completion or handoff plan
4. Final review and acceptance of completed work
5. Departure confirmed, access to internal systems removed

Timeline: Usually within a day or so for a clean exit depending on circumstances.

Departure date: Your official departure date is the date your access is removed and departure confirmed (step 5 of the process), or if you leave without following the process, the date you communicate your intention to depart. This date triggers the Decay XP clock and the 6-month Merit Shard cash redemption window.

Returning: When you return, Decay XP continues to decay until your first deliverable is accepted under a new agreement. If Decay XP has reached 0, you receive no revenue share until the first deliverable is accepted.
