Programmer

Implements gameplay mechanics, core systems, networking infrastructure, NPC behaviours, and performance optimisations using Unreal Engine 5's C++ and Blueprint visual scripting. Deliverables can include mechanic systems, networking implementation, NPC behaviours, custom editor tools, performance optimisation packages, bug fix batches, and third-party integration work (Steam API, Epic Online Services, middleware).

Game Designer

Defines mechanics, balance systems, progression design, and feature specifications. Bridges creative vision and technical implementation through detailed documentation. Deliverables can include complete GDDs for major features, weapon balance spreadsheets, progression system designs, monetisation and subscription tier designs, mechanics documentation, tutorial and onboarding designs, competitive mode frameworks, and playtesting analysis with supporting data.

Technology Evangelist

Researches emerging game technologies, analyses industry innovations, evaluates third-party tools and plugins, and identifies opportunities for technical advancement. Deliverables can include monthly technology trend reports, competitive feature analysis from similar games, third-party tool evaluations, engine comparison documents, emerging tools evaluation, innovation opportunity briefs with implementation recommendations, performance and optimisation research, and industry standards and best practices documentation.

Business Development & Operations

Handles partnerships, contract negotiations, financial planning, operational processes, legal compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. Bridges creative vision and business reality, ensuring the studio operates efficiently and grows sustainably. Deliverables can include partnership agreements, contractor management and onboarding documentation, financial planning and revenue projection models, market and competitive analysis, operational process documentation and standard operation procedures, business planning and strategy documents, fundraising and investor pitch materials, and legal and compliance management.

Audio Specialist

Creates immersive soundscapes, composes music, designs sound effects, processes voice acting, and implements dynamic audio systems. Deliverables can include background music tracks, weapon and combat sound effects, environmental ambience loops, UI and feedback sound packages, character and movement sounds (footsteps, foley), voice processing and effects, dynamic audio system implementation (MetaSounds), and mixing and mastering.

Narrative Designer

Develops game world lore, creates compelling storylines, writes character backstories, designs creature and object dossiers, and crafts immersive documentation. Creates rich narrative layers that enhance the game world and provide context for gameplay, from faction histories and character arcs to environmental storytelling frameworks. Deliverables can include world lore and history documentation, character arcs and development profiles, creature and object dossiers, codex and database entries, in-game text and UI copy, dialogue and conversation scripts, wiki and community content packages, and narrative design documents for story-driven content.
